One of the oldest scotch whisky classics, Chivas Regal is world-famous. The Chivas Brother can trace its roots back to 1801 when the grocers at Number 13 King Street, Arbedeen opened. It was only half a century later when Chivas Brothers actually started to make whisky as it started out selling luxury food, coffee and spices. The Chivas Regal 12 year was only officially released until the post-US Prohibition.
During the 1950s, the brand underwent a relaunch in the US which was an immediate success! This high end scotch is the preferred drink for many famous individuals including Frank Sinatra who requested chivas liquor as part of his backstage rider.
