Some people only love white wine. Others only drink red. Wine preference is a matter of individual taste. There are plenty of white wine styles that you can choose from and try before making up your mind on whether you like red or white wine.  Most white wine bottles basically fall under six styles, which are

Oaked Chardonnay

Unoaked Chardonnay 

Unoaked chardonnay refers to wines that are aged in stainless steel or sometimes in neutral oak but only for a short time. This means that the rich vanilla flavour is not transferred into the white wines. There is no buttery vanilla flavour and instead you’ll get a mouthful of delicious green apple, lemon and maybe some pineapple flavours. 

Sauvignon Blanc 

Sauvignon blanc originates in France but only increased in popularity when it reached New Zealand. It smells of fresh cut grass with a good amount of acidity that is very refreshing. However, if you are looking for a subtler wine, this type of wine may not be for you. 

Pinot Grigio
