Distilled from 100% Islay-grown barley and crafted in Bruichladdich’s signature unpeated house style, Old Skool pays tribute to the distillery’s long-standing partnerships with local farming communities. The barley for this limited release was grown and harvested on 14 Islay farms, reinforcing the whisky’s exceptional traceability and island identity.
Matured primarily in first-fill bourbon casks (95%) with a small parcel from first-fill Sauternes wine casks (5%), this whisky delivers a rich, vibrant, and coastal profile. Bottled at 50% ABV, it offers depth, texture, and complexity while showcasing Bruichladdich’s bright, fruit-forward spirit.
