Champagne Billecart – Salmon Brut Rosé
Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé is a non-vintage rosé Champagne from France, combining Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in a pale-pink, finely effervescent style. Produced by the Billecart-Salmon house in Champagne, it is vinified in stainless steel and aged on lees for 36 months according to the producer’s technical sheet.
This Brut Rosé is blended from 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier. The Chardonnay is sourced from selected Champagne crus, while the Pinot Noir comes from the Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallée de la Marne, and the Pinot Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and southern slopes of Épernay. Vinification is carried out in stainless steel, followed by 36 months’ lees ageing.
The wine shows a radiant pale-pink colour with graceful bubbles. Its aroma combines red berries and citrus zest with a floral, refreshing lift. The texture is creamy and smooth, developing wild-strawberry character on the palate. The close is lightly raspberry-toned, with the wine’s balance and precision retained through the finish.
Serve Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé chilled at 8–9°C as an aperitif or for celebratory meals. The producer particularly recommends it with wild salmon, langoustine carpaccio, or lightly sweetened red-fruit desserts with lively acidity.
