Chateau Petrus 1994 (Single Case)
A true monument to the Pomerol appellation, Petrus never ceases to deliver exceptional wines. Despite difficult weather conditions during the 1994 vintage, the resulting wine is of the highest quality. Sumptuously deep and intense in color, the wine reveals a lovely initial nose with notes of undergrowth and truffle. After aeration, herbaceous, mineral and blond tobacco notes emerge. On the palate, the attack is elegant and opulent. Racy, the mid-palate expresses tannins of great finesse. The bouquet of the nose is confirmed on the palate and continues through to the very persistent finish.
