DENKI BRAN Brandy
Denki Bran – literally « Electric Brandy » – was created in 1893 in the iconic « Kamiya bar », the oldest western-style bar in Tokyo.
Started as a house drink, it slowly grew into the most famous beverage of this style in Japan.
Denki Bran became popular in Japan at the end of the 19th century as rumors said that it prevents from epidemic cholera !!
To this day, the original recipe remains a well kept secret by the producer, Godo Shusei but the sweet, round and spicy notes clearly demonstrate a skillful use of fine brandies and liquors to obtain a truly unique cocktail.
