A limited edition Speyside blended malt bottled in the Remarkable Regional Malts series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Winter Edition is the fourth release and matured fully in sherry casks. It was bottled in 2023 at natural cask strength of 52.5% ABV, non chili filtered and with no added color, as a limited small batch release.

The Big Peat Christmas Edition 2023 is the thirteenth Christmas special Big Peat release. The Islay blended malt from Douglas Laing, and the special release in their Remarkable Regional Malts series, is made with malts from Ardbeg, Caola, Bowmore, Port Ellen and others and this 2023 version was finished in sherry casks. It was bottled in 2023 at natural cask strength of 54.8% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added color, as a limited small batch release.
