JACOB’S CREEK RESERVE Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 Limited Edition. In 1847, along the banks of Jacob’s Creek, Johann Gramp planted his first vineyard. His vision was to create great tasting wines that reflect the true character of the grapes and the land. To this day we live and breathe this vision by producing wines that showcase how each grape variety expresses itself when shaped by the soil and the sun of Australia.
Jacob’s Creek Reserve range is made from high quality grapes sourced from a single region, renowned for that grape variety. With a focus on Barossa, Adelaide Hills and Coonawarra, Jacob’s Creek Reserve celebrates provenance by reflecting the unique personality of each region in the wine.
This wine is in the colour of dark ruby red, with aroma of dark plums, cassis and black olives with underlying cedar-oak spice. It is a full-bodied wine showing fresh blackberry and red fruits balanced by earthy notes and some savoury spice, supported by the fine structural tannins typical of cabernet sauvignon from Coonawarra. This wine has won several medals from different international competitions, namely Bronze Medal respectively from Decanter World Wine Awards 2015 and International Wine & Spirit Competition 2015.
