TASTING NOTES:.

It’s the 2019 edition of Kilchoman’s annual Loch Gorm single malt, which sees the Islay distillery’s whisky matured in oloroso sherry casks.

Aroma: strong and fruity peat, yellow fruits, lime peppery spices.
Palate: The taste is very sweet on mainly barley sugars with significant peaty notes and rather shy sherry-induced flavours.
Finish: long enough, with peat omni present and cooked fruit, maderized, it’s good and it lasts.
