TASTING NOTES:
  • Aroma: Gentle cedar wood tones run to mocha hues with a later sweet toasted brioche style.
  • Palate: Wonderfully dulcet with creme brulee, honey, subtle tabacco and vanilla variations
  • Finish: Show the gentlest of spiced cough drops ahead of a surgery backfrop (FHL)

Description

OLD PARTICULAR Cameronbridge 1991 – 29 Years Old

OLD PARTICULAR Cameronbridge 1991 – 29 Years Old a 1991 Cameronbridge single grain whisky from Douglas Laing. ONE of 235 bottles charged from a refill hogshead for 29 years. This single cask was bottled in October 2020.

Since then Douglas Laing remains a proud family-owned business. Only today it’s headed by FDL’s son -also Fred- and his granddaughter, Cara. Together, they bring you Douglas Laing’s Old Particular – a ‘particularly’ sought after range of individually-selected Single Grain Scotch Whiskies from all over Scotland – each bottled the FDL way.

Like the first generation of the Laing family, you see the second and the third also want you to join these fine old Grain Scotch Whiskies and to take you on what we believe will be a surprising journey of discovery. These Single Grain Whiskies start their life virtually as a neutral spirit but as the decades pass and with cogent use of the correct cask they develop in an extraordinary way to offer you an unrepeatable totemic tot of quality!
