  • Nose: An inviting nose where vanilla and spice dances with bright sweet notes of Rum.
  • Palate: While being very approachable the influence of the rum cask and higher percentage alcohol creates a unique smooth, sweet, slightly woody marriage that sparkles on the tongue.

    Teeling Whiskey

The whiskey is within expectation. The price is same as in Jaya Grocer wine shop. The whiskey in the shop comes in a presentable black biscuit tin and two expensive whisky glasses.

    ? Jameson on Steroids

This is the 2nd Irish Whiskey i've tried after Jameson. The nose is sweet, grassy/vegetal not unlike Jameson, but more punchy. It tastes pretty sweet but the spiciness lingers on quite long after. Adding some water does tone down the spiciness but takes away the sweetness as well. If you like Jameson, you may learn to like this too.
