This is the second cask-strength edition of The Gauldrons from Douglas Laing, a limited-edition blended malt from Campbeltown. Inspired by the region’s dark sandy coves, The Gauldrons means “bay of storms”, and with waves of coastal character, honeyed sweetness, and delicate smoke, we can imagine this being the perfect whisky to cosy up with when the weather is wild.
