XOP BLACK NORTH OF SCOTLAND 1970 – 50 YEARS
XOP BLACK NORTH OF SCOTLAND 1970 – 50 YEARS. A 50 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the North of Scotland Distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing! This one began life back in December 1970, and aged in a refill barrel for half a century, until eventually being bottled in January 2021. It was released as part of the Xtra Old Particular The Black Series, which is reserved for marvellous well-matured expressions, like the one you see here (50 years! It’s worth repeating!). Only 215 bottles were produced.
