AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA Case Vecie
AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA Case Vecie. Amarone Case Vecie borrows its name from the homonymous 10ha-vineyard located in Grezzana – Valpantena. It is a unique vineyard, 450mt above sea level with a perfect easterly exposition. These particular pedoclimatic conditions allow the grapes to undergo a slow and constant ripening even during the hardest years. The adopted training system is the Guyot, which allows a perfect exposition of the bunches and an optimal vegetative-productive balance. The late harvesting period enables us to put the grapes to rest in a colder period of the year undergoing a slower and longer drying process. The grapes will develop the distinctive aromas that will then characterize the wine. It is designed to enhance the natural traits of a cold-climate vineyard, which remain unaltered thanks to the low temperature-drying process that preserves them.
