    Description

    ANGOVE Long Row Classic Shiraz

ANGOVE Long Row Classic Shiraz. This wine comes from one of Australia’s most famous family-owned wine enterprises, Angove Winery. The winery was founded in 1886 and over 130 years has been passed down through five generations. One could say that it has witnessed the entirety of the historical development of South Australian wine. Today, the winery is located in the famous McLaren Vale region near Adelaide, but its vineyards extend over all of South Australia.

Over 100 years of family-based management has enabled Angove to have complete control over its own production, preserving tradition while using the latest technology and aiming to farm as sustainably as possible. In recognition of its achievements, Angove has been named as “one of Australia’s five most valuable wine brands” by Wine & Spirits Magazine. Australia’s most famous wine critic, James Halliday, has also deemed it a five-star winery.
