    TASTING NOTES:
    • Aroma : Subtle combination of citrus fruit (lemon), vanilla, wildflower (dandelion), ripe fruit (pear) and spices (black pepper). Allowed to breathe, it becomes hot (Cayenne pepper), before new fruits (Mirabelle plum, pineapple, banana) enrich the fruity register of the first nose.
    • Palate : The lively attack is lemony and fruity (canary melon). On the mid-palate, malted barley provides a marvellously herbaceous transition. The end of the palate is medicinal, vanilla and floral (lily).
    • Finish: The full start of the finish is spicy (ginger), exotic (guava), honeyed (acacia) and herbaceous (flax). The end of the palate is mentholated, milky (coconut) and slightly animal (bacon).

    CAPERDONICH 2000 20 Year Old Artist #10

    CAPERDONICH 2000 20 Year Old Artist #10. This single malt from the Speyside distillery Caperdonich was distilled in 2000 and matured for 20 years in Refill Hogshead #29488. It was bottled in 2020 at 55.8% ABV. Only 251 bottles of Caperdonich 2000 20 Years Old were released. Every year since 2011, French independent bottler La Maison Du Whisky releases a new range of whiskies in their Artist series. Each year the bottles showcase a new contemporary artist. In 2020 the highly-acclaimed series celebrates its 10th anniversary. The artworks for these special releases were created by Sei Arimori, a Japanese artist currently living in Belgium.
