Cos d’Estournel Le Médoc de Cos 2013
Cos d’Estournel Le Médoc de Cos 2013. A beautiful structure ensured by 70% cabernet-sauvignon, an intense fruit on the morello cherry nuances of merlot, tannins melted by 14 months of aging in oak barrels, an elegant freshness emblematic of the 2011 vintage … this wine has everything of a “Large” of the Médoc. It is because it is produced by a star of Saint-Estèphe, Château Cos d’Estournel! Coming from a beautiful terroir of deep gravel near the Gironde estuary, the Médoc de Cos is vinified by the same team and in the same cellar as the famous Cru Classé, a spectacular building redesigned in 2008 by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The estate has belonged to ambitious Michel Reybier since 2000, with the support of director Charles Thomas.
