Description

GLENGLASSAUGH Revival

GLENGLASSAUGH Revival was mothballed from 1986 until 2008 and this the first whisky to be made from spirit distilled at the distillery since it reopened. It was matured in a mixture of first-fill bourbon casks and red wine casks before a final short finish in first-fill oloroso sherry butts.

It was closed in 1986 but resumed production in 2008. This revival bottling is the first whisky to be made at the distillery since it reopened. Matured in a mixture of first and refill bourbon casks, this was finished for 6 months in first-fill oloroso sherry butts.
