Gran Centenario Reposado
Gran Centenario Reposado, Rested in new oak casks, resulting in the perfect balance of taste and smoothness. Our Reposado provides a touch of fruit on the nose, with sweet tones of cooked agave and light hints of oak, toasted almonds, vanilla, and clove.
The Gran Centenario Reposado is aged for four months in charred, new barrels of American oak. In general, the reposado has a slight sweetness and retains much of the fruitiness of the plata, but it is less fruit forward. The agave notes are more cooked than the green notes of the plata, although the tropical fruit notes seem more pronounced. There is a noticeable smokiness, and the vanilla, chocolate and caramel notes are stronger. The Tequila has a noticeable pepperiness, though this offers up more of a chili-pepper heat than the earthiness of the white pepper in the plata. There is also a persistent cinnamon note.
