    GRANT BURGE Benchmark Merlot

GRANT BURGE Benchmark Merlot. This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine that stands out clearly from simpler qualities and so this Australian naturally enchants with the finest balance in all dryness. Taste doesn’t necessarily need residual sugar. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. The finale of this ripenable red wine from the South Australia wine-growing region finally convinces with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by limestone and clay.

Vinification of the Shiraz benchmark by Grant Burge

The powerful benchmark Shiraz from South Australia is based on grapes from the Shiraz grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in South Australia. Here the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. After harvesting, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation .
