MALT, GRAIN & CANE Benriach 24 Year Old 1997. BenRiach (Gaelic for speckled mountain) is a Scottish distillery located in Speyside, a region in Northern Scotland. The distillery was constructed in 1898 by John Duff, who was also involved in the establishment of the Longmorn Distillery in 1893.
Due to financial difficulties, the distillery was mothballed in 1900 and was rebuilt in 1965 by The Glenlivet Distilleries Ltd. However, BenRiach continued to provide malted barley for its sister distillery at Longmorn, during this period of inactivity.
Malt, Grain & Cane Pte Ltd was established in October 2020, with a dream to bring quality spirits to Asia. This bottle commemorates Malt, Grain & Cane’s first-ever bottling, our first step into the world of Independent Bottlings.
