Mortlach Whisky (also called “the Beast of Dufftown) is a single malt Scotch that hails from the new Mortlach range, launched in 2018. Mortlach undergoes a unique distillation process and is matured in both American and European oak ex-bourbon and sherry casks. The result is a whisky bottled at 43.4% ABV that packs a punch of meaty Mortlach malt at its core.

Mortlach Whisky is crafted in Dufftown, Moray, Scotland. The Mortlach distillery holds the distinction of being the first legal distillery in Dufftown, established back in 1823 by James Gordon and John Alexander MacPherson.

The Mortlach distillery is renowned for the superior quality of its whiskies. The malt underwent Mortlach’s unique and unconventional distillation method, known as “2.81 times”.
