A refill hogshead from the criminally overlooked Allt-A-Bhainne distillery, this is a single cask from the 2008 vintage, bottled in 2021 by Douglas Laing as a 12-year-old for their Old Particular series, yielding 411 bottles at their preferred strength of 48.4%.
Allt-A-Bhainne might not blow anyone’s socks off, but we’re certain that this will be a very good session Speysider with plenty of sweet fruit and biscuity barley notes at a great value price.
