Palate: Rich and opulent with cedar wood, liquorice, treacle, dates and Malted barley.
Finish: Brings forth crushed walnuts, raisins, chest-warming spices and gentle oak (FHL).

A single cask Fettercairn 2004 bottled as an 18-year-old without colouring or chill filtration in 2023 by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range.
This 2004 Fettercairn 18-year-old was matured in a second fill sherry butt cask DL18146 that ended up yielding 290 bottles at the Old Particular standard strength of 48.4%, approximately equivalent to the old 85 Imperial proof.
