2019 Paul Jaboulet Aine Secret De Famille Red – Exceptional terroir and ageing process
This wine is made exclusively from Syrah grapes grown on 20-year-old vines in clay and limestone-rich soil. The region enjoys plenty of sunshine and cool nights, which contribute to the wine’s complexity and balance.
It is essential that the grapes are harvested at night to preserve their aromatic qualities. They then go through a two-week fermentation process in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for six months.
