THE GLENROTHES 15 Year Oldd 2003 Single Cask. The single cask was chosen by Australian Brand Ambassador, Daniel Hutchins-Read who has a great knowledge of Glenrothes and what the distillery can offer. It’s not often we see a single cask Glenrothes being bottled by the distillery direct, this is a bit of whisky history in the making.
The spirit was distilled in 2003 and matrued for 15 years in a first fill American oak barrel barrel which previously held Spanish Oloroso Sherry. It has been bottled at natural cask strength and the colour alone shows what the barrel has managed to create.
