Matured exclusively in first-fill sherry-seasoned Spanish oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera, and sourced from a single cooperage, The Macallan No. 6 is crafted to deliver outstanding consistency, richness, and character. On the nose, raisin, dates, and figs lead the way, followed by sultana, toffee apples, dark chocolate, vanilla, dry ginger, and soft cinnamon. The palate is heavy and sumptuous, unfolding like a rich fruit cake with notes of raisin, dates, figs, apples, sultanas, orange, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and hints of clove. Velvet-like oak adds refinement and texture, while the finish is silky smooth, long, and full.
