TASTING NOTES:
It’s full round nose opens in a cedar tobacco box style, running to mixed spices, barley and gentle oak. The palate shows more of those earlier, but now lighter spices, hinting at sugar sprinkled ginger with another pinch of tobacco, and attractive later grist style plus oaked qualities. That all leads to a mellow, archetypal Speyside, finish with more very soft oak, butterscotch and crushed sugar plus late spice.

Part of the Old Particular range from Douglas Laing, this expression from Linkwood distillery was distilled in 1991 and has spent 30 years maturing in a Refill Hogshead.
Another exceptionally old vintage grain whisky created by the multi award winning independent bottler Douglas Laing. From their Xtra Old Particular single cask range this bottle is limited to just 209 bottles.
