A delicate and aromatic Margaux wine
The estate
In 1697, this property was sold to Simon Malescot, advisor to King Louis XIV. In 1827 it was bought by the count of Saint-Exupery, great-grandfather of the famous aviator. The 300-year-old Third Grand Cru Classé Chateau Malescot St Exupéry boasts one of the most beautiful terroirs of the Margaux appellation.
The vineyard
A name among the great Margaux wines, Château Malescot St Exupéry vineyard covers 23 hectares in the heart of the Margaux appellation.
Winemaking and ageing

Carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel and cement vats, alcoholic fermentation lasted 8 to 12 days without the addition of yeast and was followed by ageing on fine lees for 12 to 14 months in barrels (70% new oak) with a stirring of the lees.
