GLENCADAM Origin 1825 Sherry Cask Finish. A recent addition to the Highland distillery’s range, this is a non-aged-stated whisky that celebrates the distillery’s founding year of 1825. To create this celebratory and special bottling, the master distiller hand selected an exceptional collection of casks. This selection consisted of whisky matured in American white-oak former Bourbon casks, before being married together and finished in top-quality Oloroso Sherry butts. The result is a whisky of excellent balance, with the toffee, vanilla and creamy flavours of the Bourbon casks being nicely countered by the depth and power of the Sherry butts. A fitting tribute to their founding year, this is a moreish and approachable whisky.
