Since 1865 Glenfarclas has been owned and managed by just one family, the Grants of Glenfarclas. Glenfarclas is renowned for producing Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky in the traditional Speyside style, with a heavy Sherry influence. They produce a wide range of expressions from the mouthwatering freshness of the 10 Years Old, to the indulgent 30 Years Old. One of the delights of Glenfarclas is exploring the subtle differences between the different expressions.
Glenfarclas 21 Years is intense and full of the aroma of sherried fruit, tropical fruit, nutmeg and almonds with slight citrus notes at the end, all held together with a vanilla sweet smokiness. On the palate wise, it is full bodied, slowly develop into fruity,smoky and spice flavours with long lasting finish, smooth and smoky with a chocolate feel at the back of throat. It won the Silver Outstanding Medal from International Wine & Spirit Competition 2014.
