Finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for at least three months before bottling in 2018, this 2002 Distiller’s Edition Lagavulin has a rich, coastal character, complimented by notes of dates, cherries, raisins and salted caramel.

TASTING NOTES:

• Aroma: Rich and fruity, with dry oaky spice, menthol, raisins, cigar boxes, marmalade and ashy smoke.
• Palate: Spice and dark sugar syrup leading to bitter dark chocolate, caramel sauce and black pepper.
• Finish: Maritime peat and a little bit of menthol.
