    OLD PARTICULAR CRAIGELLACHIE Year of Dragon 2012 (10 YEARS OLD)

    This is an Asia-only edition with four different designs, all based on the dragon motif of the Year of the Dragon. The dragon illustration is a collaboration with Taiwanese designer and tattoo artist Milkabean. Milkabean began his career in painting at a young age and in traditional design. After gaining a wealth of experience, he has been working as a tattoo artist for over 15 years.

    This special label features the elements of the five elements, based on the theory of the twelve zodiac signs and the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water) which originates from ancient Chinese thought. The design for “Craigelach 10 Years 2012” is “Water Dragon”, it used the Japanese term “Mizunoe Tatsu”. This premium bottle features the dragon, which is this year’s zodiac sign, on the label, it considered a sacred and powerful being, the imaginary “Dragon God” is the only one among the Zodiac animals. The guardian deity of water, “Tatsu” (Dragon), truly represents the Water Dragon. Amemurakumo no Mikoto represented that “Become a dragon, and the clouds will come of their own accord” . The source of both dragons and clouds is the “water of life” that nourishes the earth. Rice cultivation that has been cultivated throughout the four seasons, the zodiac that has informed the calendar to this day, “The more the rice ripens, the more it bows its head”. “Minoru” is a word that is pronounced “year” and refers to the calendar. Amemurakumo no Mikoto is also said to be the ancestor of the chief priest of Watarai Shrine. The word whiskey comes from the roots of the word “water of life.”
