    Description

OLD PARTICULAR Tobermory 2005 – 15 Years Old

OLD PARTICULAR Tobermory 2005 – 15 Years Old a single cask from Douglas Laing. One of 349 bottles charged from a refill hogshead. This single cask was distilled May 2005 and was bottled October 2020.

Today many decades later, Douglas Laing remains a proudly family-owned business. Only today it’s headed by FDL’s son -also Fred- and his granddaughter, Cara. Together they bring you Douglas Laing’s OId Particular: a “particularly” sought after range of individually-selected and specialist Scotch Whiskies from all over Scotland -each- bottled the FDL way.

Like the first generation of the Douglas Laing family, the second and third want you to experience these fine aged Whiskies exactly as the distiller intended. To us, this means not adding any colouring nor chill filtering our spirit but instead “leaving it well alone” and allowing the naturally present oils and enzymes in the whisky to make their own special contribution to its nose, mouthfeel, plate and finish. The result is as close as most come to experiencing that rarest of pleasure – savouring a dram straight from its cask in hallowed surroundings of a distillery warehouse.
