SCALLYWAG Winter Edition is a limited edition marriage of single cask, single malts, only from speyside. Bottled at natural cask strength of 52.6% and proudly offered without colouring or chill-filtration. This delectably dark, rich and fruity dram is a real winter warmer!
One of 3000 bottles availble globally, the unique recipe for this special edition Scallywag comprises single malts distilled at MACALLAN, MORTLACH and GLENROTHES distilleries (among others). 100% sherry matured in a combination of oloroso and pedro ximinez butts, the Scallywag winter edition display bold notes of dark fruits, rich cocoa, subtle tobacco and warming winter spices.
Inspired by a long line of Douglas Laing family Fox Terriers, Scallywag Malt Scotch Whisky is a marriage of aged Speyside Single Malts matured predominantly in Spanish Sherry casks. The resulting Whisky reveals an explosion of rich, dark fruits, chocolate and spice interwoven with late vanilla. Award-winning Scallywag is bottled and released in genuinely small, precious batches.
